Melissa Northcutt
Midwifery Assistant
Melissa’s passion for birth began after welcoming her daughter at the California Birth Center. The compassionate care she received left a lasting impact and inspired her to return as a midwifery assistant. It is a true privilege for her to now care for families at the same birth center where her own journey began.
Melissa completed her midwifery assistant training through Luna Birth Learning Center and maintains certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) and the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
Known for her calm, intentional, dependable, hardworking, and witty nature, Melissa loves building genuine relationships with the families she serves. Her curiosity and love of learning continue to deepen her passion for birth and caring for others.
When she’s not at the California Birth Center, you’ll likely find Melissa hanging with her family, baking, taking neighborhood walks, enjoying a binge-worthy TV show, or savoring a latte at a local coffee shop.
