Christie Cambridge Zachreson LM, CPM
(Christie is currently on maternity leave, but will return in August 2022 on a part time basis) Christie discovered her passion for Midwifery first as a child watching her mother become a midwife and then Later in life having her opportunity to have 2 home water births with her mother as her Midwife. Because of her personal experience of feeling empowered and triumphant in her own births she began taking the steps towards become a midwife so that she can help women to have an empowering birth experience for themselves and their families. She started school at national College of Midwifery in 2013 And graduated in 2018 and has maintained her certifications in neonatal resuscitation and CPR and advance learning with continuing education in midwifery yearly. Christie began her own business as the primary midwife in a Homebirth practice, Cambridge Midwifery Care. She supported 4 to 6 clients per month in the Roseville area and beyond. During this time she apprenticed 3 midwifery students to help pass this art along to more aspiring midwives. At the end of 2021 She made the switch to working at the California Birth Center and closed her Home birth practice fully in February of 2022. Christie lives in Roseville with her husband, two teenage kids and a new baby born in May 2022.
